Jim is a Partner of Sustainable Development Capital, LLP and Managing Director, Asia.  Jim has 25 + years’ experience across insurance, project finance and infrastructure development in Asia and previously led the Asia risk advisory and syndication businesses for the two largest global insurance brokerages. Jim has acted for sponsors and lenders in the development of over US$25 billion of investments in project financed infrastructure assets. 

Jim is an investor in SDCL since 2011, and InsureTech and sustainable infrastructure platforms including:  kWh Analytics (solar risk management), Sustainable Living Partners (sustainable housing), REI (transportable solar);  he is also an advisor to Intensel, an Asia based Nat Cat modelling platform.  Jim holds an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas, Austin and a B.S.F.S. from the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University.
