Ecoforge Advisors is an advisory and consulting services firm focused on utility-scale and decentralized clean energy, energy efficiency, digital energy, electric mobility, sustainable infrastructure and climate change in developing countries of South Asia, Africa, South East Asia, and Central Asia. Since 2013, Ecoforge Advisors has served several clients including private institutional investors, clean energy IPPs/project developers/decentralized energy companies, banks/microfinance institutions (MFIs), multilateral development banks such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), UN agencies such as UNDP and UNCDF, international NGOs, private equity/venture capital funds investing in clean energy, energy access, electric mobility and sustainable infrastructure in Developing Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Private Financing Advisory Network

The Private Financing Advisory Network is a global network of expert consultants, who provide free business coaching and investment facilitation to entrepreneurs developing climate adaptation and clean energy projects in low- and middle-income countries. PFAN’s goals are to build clean energy markets one business at a time, mitigate climate change and mobilise investment in support of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Since its founding by UNFCCC and CTI in 2006, PFAN has leveraged US$ 1.25 billion in investment, for 102 projects in 25 countries. These projects, with a combined clean energy generation capacity of 802 MW, mitigate 3.3 million tonnes of CO2e emissions annually – equivalent to taking 700,000 average cars off the road. Project applications are currently accepted from Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

PFAN is hosted by UNIDO and REEEP, and funded by the governments of Australia, Austria, Japan, Norway, Sweden and the USA.
