The Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) is a global network of climate and clean energy financing consultants, who provide free business coaching and investment facilitation to entrepreneurs developing climate adaptation and clean energy projects in low- and middle-income countries. PFAN’s goals are to build clean energy markets one business at a time, mitigate climate change and mobilise investment in support of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Since its founding by UNFCCC and CTI in 2006, PFAN has leveraged US$ 1.46 billion in investment, for 113 projects in 25 countries. These projects, with a combined clean energy generation capacity of 802 MW, mitigate 3.3 million tonnes of CO2e emissions annually – equivalent to taking 700,000 average cars off the road. Project applications are currently accepted from Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
